Took A Trip To Colorado For Our Anniversary

My husband and I had our 10 year wedding anniversary coming up. Normally we don’t do much for it to celebrate, but we decided that we wanted to do something different this year. After talking about it, we decided that we wanted to travel somewhere that neither one of us had ever been to before, but we weren’t sure where we wanted to go.

We both started searching online to see if anything really piqued our interest. I found a few trips that I thought sounded interesting and different and I showed them to my husband so he could look them over. He also found a few places that we could go so we added them to our list of maybes.

I started researching one trip in particular to Colorado. I had never been there before and neither had my husband. I had heard such great things about this state and the trip sounded like a good deal. I asked my husband what he thought about going to Colorado for our anniversary. He said he thought it sounded like a great trip and that he wanted me to make the arrangements so we could go which I did.

I couldn’t wait to travel to Colorado and he was so excited about our upcoming trip too. It would give us a great opportunity to spend time together and celebrate our anniversary. Finally the time arrived for our trip and since it was only a few hours away, we decided that we were going to drive there. Once we arrived, we were happy with the resort that we chose to stay at. It was really nice and the room was great too, we even had a Jacuzzi in our room.

While we were there we went on a hike to check out the beauty of this state. It was such a nice trip away from the every day normal life we had with work. We both agreed it was a great time and want to go back in the future. We were happy we chose to do something for our anniversary this year and said we need to do it every year. We have decided that we want to travel to a new place every year so we can enjoy the time away from home and daily life. It was a nice relaxing break from the ordinary.
